High Fashion vs. High Street

I know I’ve said this before but clothing you can fake.
Now before you get your panties up in a bunch I don’t mean buy fake designer clothes.  What I’m saying is invest in the accessories, purses and shoes, but clothes… clothes, I don’t think need to be splurged on.  This is what I mean when I say I like to mix “High Fashion with High Street.”  The items I like to splurge and invest on paired with items I like to save on.

As for my every day clothing – I love stores (and e-stores) like Zara, Missguided and H&M.  You can find classic pieces and you can find trendy pieces – and all for prices that won’t break the bank!  I like to save on clothing because realistically how often are you going to wear the same blouse or cardigan?!?  Let’s be honest, not more than a handful.  Which is unlike a purse that you can wear every. single. day. this year…and in 20 years!  Plus what’s trendy this year won’t be next year, and you won’t feel guilty if you spent $50 on a trendy shirt, than if you spent $500.  Just some food for thought.

So as I scoured the internet looking for cute new e-stores, because let’s be real, ain’t nobody got time to actually try on clothes in a dressing room when they can try it on at home, I came across ROMWE, a new e-store (well new for me)!  Now before I ordered everything I placed in my shopping cart, which I was really tempted to with the “fiscally responsible” price points they have, I decided to go with one piece and make sure that I love the quality – you never know with those prices!

I patiently awaited for the arrival of THIS SHIRT and when it came I was pleasantly surprised!  The lines of the stripes were even and clean.  There was no loose stitching.  The embroidery was beautiful.  And the quality of the actual shirt felt sturdy and expensive!  This didn’t feel like a shirt you could buy for under $50, let alone for $17.99!  No, I’m not lying to you.  So don’t’ walk…run…I mean, click HERE and get the shirt before its gone!  I’ll keep you updated on what else I decide to get on Romwe’s site.

Comment below and let me know what you get!
