Tuesday Shoesday Dupes: Caovilla or Glitterati?

Are you ready for this @SomethingNavy gem I am about to bestow upon you?!!!
I don't know if you remember but Arielle from Something Navy insta-storied THESE RENE CAOVILLA SHOES and I in true fashion "swiped up" because I thought they were a perfect glam edition to my Sam Edelman sandals.  Now I know what you're thinking...is she crazy... Rene Caovilla is SO expensive!  But follow along for a second...these are sandals!  Even expensive sandals shouldn't be more than $300 or $400, right?!!

But NO.  N - O.  Wow, was I so wrong!  These sandals start at $790 and go up to $1,095.  I loved them but there is something that is so wrong with spending that much on a sandal whether or not it has little crystals all over it.

I didn't think much about these sandals again until I was doing some pre- South of France shopping!  I was looking for the perfect cover ups, accessories and sandals to dress up my every day laid back looks and make them so Parisian chic.

And that's when I saw these CHINESE LAUNDRY GLITTERATI SANDALS on ZOOSHOO!  And for a fraction of the price - ONLY $50 - I didn't think twice!  And lucky for you, they're even on sale now for cheaper - shop them HERE!

Now because you know I'm always going to give you the tea on everything - these are a little different - the blues aren't the exact same (but to be honest I prefer the lighter baby blue hue) and the dupes only have crystals on the top of the sandal, not around the base.  But again, not a deal breaker when you are saving up to $1,000!!!  I mean you can buy the sandals and a Gucci bag!  Now what's not to love about that?!!

I love these sandals for adding a touch of sparkle and glam.  They're SO easy to dress!  I paired it with my bikini and a kimono on a yacht in the South of France (ooohhhh so bugie of me 😂), then with a short summer dress, and also with jeans and a tank one night for a dinner date with the hubs!  They're just so pretty, easy and versatile!

Until next week...

xx, Neg
