Typically I focus on a specific dupe for Tuesday Shoesday Dupes. But when I came across THESE ANKLE BOOTIES on ZooShoo I wasn't thinking of a specific designer. Instead I was thinking of the perfect transitional Fall bootie.
Unbeknownst to me, this style is this season's IT shoe. It seems to be that every designer is making its own version for fall and winter - see HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE (and I could keep going but I think you get the drift). And honestly, I can totally see why!
An ankle bootie is practical - the height of the boot (ankle versus a knee high for example) makes the shoe so much easier to wear - you can pair it with a skirt, jeans, dress. You can wear it to dinner or a night out. As much as I love a sexy knee high boot I feel limited with the amount of places and times I can wear it in one season.
And its not just practical. The lace up detail adds the edge and sex appeal. Now that is what I call a win-win.
I love THIS pair because the color is perfect for fall, the heel on it is chunky making it super easy to wear and walk in, and the style of it makes it a perfect transitional piece, not just from Summer to Fall, but also from day to night!
